Requirements for Online Undergraduate Admissions
> Associate of Arts
Students applying for the Associate of Arts program must meet the following requirements:
- Four units of English
- Two units of algebra (Algebra I & II)
- One unit of geometry
- Two units of foreign language
- Two units from history and social studies
- One unit of natural science
- Four units of other academic electives
The Admissions Committee of Faculty may conditionally accept students who do not present this preparation along with a minimum 2.6 academic grade point average on a 4.0 scale and a minimum ACT or SAT I composite score of 19 or 890. Students who receive conditional acceptance may take up to 14 semester hours and may not hold academic sanction regarding academic standards during their first semester in attendance at the college.
> Business Administration
> Information Technology
Students applying for the BBA or BTech online programs must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and the equivalent of 60 semester hours or an associate degree. Students with less than a 2.5 grade point average may be considered and accepted on a conditional basis provided they are able to demonstrate a significant rationale as to why they feel they will succeed in the King College online program.
- A completed “Plan of Study” to document how those students who need extra courses to meet the required 124 credits for graduation will earn additional credits. Students with 45-60 hours may apply for admission; however, they must meet with a King College Student Support Specialist to develop a specific written plan that will outline how they will complete the BBA or BTech program. This plan must be in place prior to registration of classes.
> Nursing
Students applying for RN-BSN Online program must meet the following requirements:
- An Associate degree or diploma in Nursing.
- A current, active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
or a compact Multi-State license. Applicant should not be on probation and must report any past or current disciplinary action taken by a State Board. - A copy of current CPR certification.
- Proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000-$2,000,000.

Requirements for Online Graduate Admissions
> MBA
Students applying for the MBA program must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree earned from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Undergraduate coursework completed in the following disciplines: Statistics, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Financial Accounting and Computer Applications (recommended).
a. Students who do not meet the above course requirements will be enrolled in BUSA 4890 Statistics, BUSA 4891 Economics, BUSA 4892 Accounting, BUSA 4893 Finance and BUSA 4894 Marketing in the appropriate semester of the program. Students must complete seminars prior to the start of the corresponding MBA course.
- A minimum of a 3.0 (or better) cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale on all prior academic work.
- Students with less than a 3.0 grade point average may be considered and accepted on a conditional basis provided they are able to demonstrate a significant rationale as to why they feel they will succeed in the King College MBA program.
