How can I afford a private college like King?
At King, we are committed to providing students with a quality, affordable, private education. We work with individuals of all income levels to put together a financial package that meets your needs. Each year we award more than $25 million in aid. In fact, 98 percent of our students receive assistance.
How does financial aid work at King?
Financial aid is determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students wishing to start an online program should apply as soon as possible to qualify for all available aid, including federal and state sources.
How is financial need determined?
Financial need is defined as the total cost of attendance minus your Student Aid Index (SAI), which is determined by the data submitted on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
When should I apply for financial aid?
The FAFSA is available on October 1 each year. You should complete your FAFSA as soon as possible on or after this date to maximize your eligibility for all types of aid.
