Tuition & Financial Aid Information

We make college education affordable! The cost of attending King University Online includes tuition, tech fees and course materials. Financial aid is need-based and available to all students who qualify. Apply for financial aid at your earliest convenience to take advantage of all available aid.

Active Duty Military
Our GPS undergraduate tuition rate is reduced to $250 per credit hour.

Other Fees

Books: Estimated $200 per course

Technology Fee: $100 per course

Graduation Fee:
$125 one-time fee for graduates of associate and bachelor’s programs
$175 one-time fee for graduates of master’s programs

Background Check:
$65 one-time fee applies to Education, Nursing, and Social Work students
$65 annual fee for MSN students

Nursing Program fees:
Liability Insurance: $40 (one-time fee for insurance through King)
Health Assessment Supplies: $75 (one-time fee for RN-BSN students), $200 (one-time fee for MSN-Nurse Educator students)
Research/Library Resources: $35 (annual fee)
Drug Test via Castlebranch: $40 per screen (must complete and pass a yearly urine drug screen)
Document system via Castlebranch: $35 (one-time fee)

Effective FALL 2017:

On the first day of the semester, a late fee of $100 will be charged to all accounts with an outstanding or unsecured balance greater than $100.

On the 5th day of the semester, if the balance is not paid in full or secured by the arrangements below, the student may be purged from class.

  • Account balance must be paid in full – OR
  • Have payment arrangements secured with financial aid (All FA documents must be received and FA Award “Finalized”) – OR
  • Enroll in the Advanced Education Services (AES) Payment Plan – OR
  • Employer Reimbursement Forms completed and submitted through student portal by tuition due date – OR
  • A combination of the above

Financial Aid

Your financial aid must be complete prior to the course launch date, or you must make arrangements with the Student Services Office until financial aid is complete.

Financial aid is need-based and available for qualifying students. Students wishing to start an online program should apply as soon as possible to qualify for all available aid.

Financial Aid Process

To apply for financial aid, visit the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.
Our school code is 003496.

• We encourage you to apply for financial aid when you apply for admission.
• Once we receive confirmation of your acceptance into your selected program from the Admissions Office, we can access your federal financial aid information online.
• We will then compose a financial aid award letter detailing all the information that you are eligible to receive.
