7 Scholarships for Business Majors in Tennessee and Beyond

January 27, 2014

While college is a long-term investment that will have a huge payoff for your future, it can be expensive in the short run. However, it can be made more affordable through financial aid. Federal loans and grants can limit or, in some cases, eliminate the cost of a college degree when applying to college for the first time or continuing your education with a degree completion program or advanced program of study. However, there are restrictions on federal financial aid, which limits who qualifies for this much-needed support and can therefore hinder your enrollment.

Most federal financial aid restrictions center on income and your perceived ability to afford all of the expenses related to earning a college degree. Scholarships are an available alternative for prospective students looking for financial support and are open to almost everyone. Certain restrictions will apply to some scholarships as defined by the supporting institution. However, with enough diligence, you should be able to earn enough scholarships to cover up to 100 percent of your college expenses.
