Eligibility for Military Benefits The Tennessee GI Bill is intended for Tennessee residents and military service members stationed in Tennessee, serving after September 11, 2001. You are required to apply for financial aid to receive GI Bill benefits. Please apply for federal financial aid if you haven’t yet. What is the GI Bill? The GI Bill guarantees military service members a financial pathway to education through tuition support and other benefits, such as a monthly housing allowance and an annual book and supply stipend. Yellow Ribbon Program King University collaborates with the Veterans Affairs (VA) Administration to offer the Yellow Ribbon Program to all military service members with 100 percent eligibility under the Post 9-11 GI Bill. Military service members must have served at least 36 months on active duty to be eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program. The scholarship covers any remaining balance after the Post 9-11 GI Bill benefit is applied. Contact email@example.com for more information.
