There are some tools that can help you avoid getting lost as a new online student and a list of terms to help you understand the language of online learning.

You have registered for an online course!

Now what?

You might think that online students have it easy, never having to get lost on a vast university campus or find their way through a building’s maze of elevators, offices, classrooms, and floors. But the virtual world of online learning has its own maze too, with discussion forums and course pages, assignments and chats and tech issues, etc.
