Graduate Application Process

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Students applying for admission to the MBA online program must take the following steps:

  • Submit a completed application online.
  • Complete the official transcript request form and email a scanned copy to transcripts@learninghouse.com or fax to 800.473.2512.
  • Obtain and submit two letters of recommendation (preferably one from an employer and one from a previous college professor). When applying online, students may submit the recommenders’ names and email addresses to automate the process.
  • Submit a three to four page personal statement discussing your academic and career history and goals.
  • Submit most recent resume.

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Prospective students must take the following steps to apply to the MSN program:

  • Submit a completed application for enrollment.
  • Complete the official transcript request form and email a scanned copy to transcripts@learninghouse.com or fax to 800.473.2512.
  • Obtain and submit two letters of recommendation (preferably one from an employer and one from a previous nursing faculty member). When applying online, students may submit the recommenders’ names and email addresses to automate the process.
  • Submit a writing sample addressing the following question within two to three pages: What is the role of graduate education in preparing nurses to meet the health needs of our society? The paper should be typed using APA style and should cite two peer-reviewed journals.
  • Submit verification of current unencumbered registered nurse license from the Tennessee Board of Nursing. (Clinical placements will be arranged accordingly if your licensure is from another state.)
  • Submit a copy of current CPR certification.
  • Submit copies of all certificates in an area of clinical specialization.
  • Submit most recent resume.

Academic Policies:

All MSN students are subject to the academic policies of King University’s Graduate and Professional Studies. The following policies also apply:

  • Transfer credit: Up to six graduate credits of “B” work or above from regionally accredited colleges or universities may be accepted in transfer toward meeting the program’s elective requirements.
